Being able to do those things is like having a superpower, allowing you to connect with and influence a large group of people. Something else that’s great about public speaking: it is a skill you can develop. For young alumni who would like to work on their ability to command stages and move crowds, we are organising a public speaking workshop on Februari 15th, from 19:00 to 22:00.
If you join us in comedy club Club Haug, you will get hands-on experience. A veteran comedian will guide you and teach you how to relax while talking to a group, so that your hands don’t get as sweaty and you don’t trip over your words.

The comedian on duty
This workshop will be lead by comedian Zuva Martens. Zuva was born in Zimbabwe in 1991 of a Zimbabwean mother and Dutch (The Netherlands) father. Always very passionate about performing, he starred in multiple amateur plays at a young age, but began working professionally at age 18. He began as an actor but expanded into voice acting, stand-up comedy, and sketch writing appearing on many Dutch stages and local television.
