Reflecting on our Alumni Talk: Sustainability & Architecture

The Timmerhuis, the emblematic building in Rotterdam known for its sustainable and versatile design, hosted an engaging panel that delved into the intersection of sustainability and architectural brilliance.

Together with inspiring speakers, including Paul de Ruiter, Job Dura, Derk Loorbach, and Chantal Zeegers, and moderator Lotte Schipper, our alumni members explored the past, present, and future of the sustainable architecture.

Among the discussed topics, the panelists addressed the role of architecture in the broader sustainability transition, the Municipality’s initiatives to promote sustainable designs, and cooperation between the public and private sector to achieve sustainability goals in construction and beyond.

Looking forward, the participants continued the evening at the BrewDog bar, celebrating and raising a glass to a New Year filled with sustainability goals, achievements, success, and transformative growth.
